[va-bird] Black-throated Blue Warbler

This morning as I walked my usual walk in my neighborhood woods here in
Reston, I learned that not all Warblers prefer the tree tops. If I had
read the top lines on the Warbler pages of The Sibley Guide to Birds I
would have already known this, but alas, I had not done so. The
Black-throated Blue Warbler turning over leaves on the ground was a
puzzle to me, and I carefully noted the markings so that I could find
it in one of my bird books when I got home. It took me longer than it
should have because I saw slate gray on the top of the bird, whereas
Sibley says it is dark blue. All other characteristics checked out, so
I feel certain I have correctly identified my first Black-throated Blue
Warbler .
