I was watching foraging sparrows this morning before leaving for work &
observed a Black-and-White Warbler working the bark of a locust tree just
outside my window. It certainly looked out of place in a snowstorm and 17.5
degree temperature!
It is interesting to note that, on Jan. 5, 2003, Tom Gwynn reported a
B-and-W in Suffolk (on the Nansemond River CBC). And there were single
B-and-W's reported on Little Creek & Back Bay CBC's (12/31/02 & 12/28/02,
respectively).
