Had a great evening birding Ball Neck on Saturday at the NNK. The time was
about 4:00 pm and there were clear skies. On the way to Dameron marsh I saw a
flock of Eastern Meadowlarks about 25 to 30 flying from field to field. They
would sit in the winter rye, which is about 2" inches in some fields, 4 inches
in other fields and pop there heads up. It was a great find.
