Let me second Carol's request - I too would love to know where to bird in
the Front Royal area other than Shenandoah NP.

I'm looking for birding opportunities in Front Royal vicinity. This warm
weather has really given me spring fever and I don't want to travel right
now to another place. I never seem to have any luck in finding birds. Can
you guys give me some tips on where to look and how you look? Does it just
take sitting in one place for a long time or what? Or maybe it just takes
knowing where to go. There are rivers here and today I went to two locations
and nada. I'd love to see a bald eagle. I have a great pair of binoculars
that I have hardly used. If you have any advice, please give it! Thanks
