There were 14 people on the No VA Bird Club bird walk, led by John Drummond &
Joe Coleman, at the Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve (Loudoun Co) this morning. A
total of 46 birds were seen with the highlights being Red-headed Woodpeckers,
12 Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Blue-headed Vireos, a Palm Warbler, a Lincoln's
Sparrow, and five Swamp Sparrows.
The preserve is open tomorrow from 6 am to 4 pm. More info. can be found on
