Our resident pair of barred owls fledged two owlets last week. They were
visible in the immediate vicinity of the nest tree on Paul Spring Rd. in Hollin
Hills for a couple of days. If past is prologue, it will be possible to hear
them hissing for food in the evenings in the area for the next few months, but
relatively difficult to find them during the day.
