There were seven birders on this morning's No VA Bird CLub's field trip to
Banshee Reeks and the nearby Dulles Greenway Wetlands Mitigation Project
(DGWMP), which was led by Joe Coleman and Mary Ann Good.
The highlights of the trip were four late Yellow-billed Cuckoos (3 at Banshee &
1 at DGWMP) and several White-crowned Sparrows (most were immature but there
were a couple of adults).
A total of 51 species were observed at both locations. The list follows (the
first number is Banshee; the 2nd is the Wetlands):
