Va Birders :
Some 16 birders enjoyed catching glimpses and sometimes extended
views of several migrant warbler flocks at Bansheee Reeks Nature Preserve on
the regular second Saturday of the month bird walk. Highlights were
Philadelphia Vireo , Blackburnian ,Black-throated Green and Chestnut-sided
Warblers and
Yellow-billed Cuckoo.

Earlier three birders visited the restricted access Dulles Wetlands
from 6-30 to 7-30 a.m. Numbers of shorebirds were down from the previous
weekend but the adult White-rumped S/P was still present along with one adult
Semi-Palmated S/P and about a dozen mixed juvenal and adult Least S/P. Also
heard
at the wetlands were 3 Virginia Rails , one Sora , one Marsh Wren and 2
Bobolinks.
