When I went outside this morning there was a male Baltimore Oriole singing
and generally making himself conspicuous in a tree directly above my deck.
He has continued to sing all morning.
A pair of Baltimore Orioles nested in a sycamore in my next door neighbor's
backyard last year and fledged at least one young oriole. I'm hoping
they're back to try again.
