[va-bird] Bald Eagle to be released

Birders,

Just wanted to let everyone know that tomorrow (10/25) Ed Clark of the Wildlife Center of Virginia is scheduled to come release a Bald Eagle at Mason Neck State Park, in Fairfax County. The eagle was picked up in the Kingstowne area, acting strangely. It turned out to have an enlarged heart and other ailments probably due to encephalitis. It was treated for about a month with antibiotics, and is now ready to return to the wild.

If you've ever wanted to see a wild Bald Eagle up close, this is your chance. The release is scheduled for 1:00pm tomorrow, and the park is located at 7301 High Point Road, Lorton, VA 22079. You may address any questions to me at the phone or email listed below.
