I'm posting this separately for those of you who may not read our daily tally
of hawks seen at Harvey's Knob. Today, Saturday 10/15/05 an adult Bald Eagle
passed the lookout at 1:15pm EST close enough that we could see an antenna
attached to the base of it's tail. Does anyone know of a tracking project that
this bird might be part of. We would certainly like to know more about it. Any
information, people to contact, etc., would be greatly appreciated.
