Saw and photographed an immature Bald Eagle today (11 Aug about
11:00am)cruising parallel to the Shenandoah River west of Paris, VA. It was
cruising at about 200'along State Route 622, a route which parallels the
river on the west side and, which is accessed where Hwy 50 crosses the
river. Although not particularly rare I thought it unusual for a Bald Eagle
to be this far inland.
