Greetings Birders,
Had a great trip today with 16 Monticello Bird Club members to Hog
Island. Gordon Adamski previously posted the results of our trip,
including a front row seat watching a Bald Eagle show of dominance.
After arriving home in Madison, my wife said she had seen a male
Rose-breasted Grosbeak at one of our BO Sunflower seed feeders. Upon
checking the feeders, the RBG was there, in addition to a male Indigo
Bunting. We now have 2 male and 1 female Ruby Throats with 3 feeders
up to keep them all happy. White Throats are still here in good numbers
- Juncos departed last week on the 21st. Still no Bluebirds.
