I was in Staunton last Thursday and spent some time at the Augusta Springs Wetlands. If you've never been there, give it a try if you get to that area.

I got a picture of a bird and I wanted some confirmation of my ident.

I think it is an immature Indigo Bunting.

Please reply to me off the list with your thoughts pro or con.

Also got a shot of a bird I haven't been able to decide about. Your inputs would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Some other birds I saw while at the wetlands:

Very pretty male American Redstart.
Large flock of Cedar Waxwings
Lots of American Goldfinches
Belted Kingfisher
Three Ruby-throated Hummingbirds at one time.

Also saw lots of butterflies and dragonflies.
