Dear
I quite agree with you. I suspect it was just an oversight on his part. I also feel that the question was quite vaild. In fact I wrote him a lengthy bit about what a great place to bird and especially recommended the Puffin trip out of Jonesport that use to be run by the Norton's. I am not positive they are still at it but chances are reasonable that they are. The whale watches out of Bar Harbor are also likely to produce some good pelagic birds. The warblers at Acadia and Baxter are seen in good numbers in August I can't say much about Warblers in June as I have not been to Maine that early in the Summer.
However, alas my lengthy email did not make it through his filter. I see this as a unfortunate minor frustration but not one that deservers condemnation of any sort. Good birding to all!
