Lisa Shannon spotted a Red-necked Grebe at Roaches Run on Saturday morning,
March 15. It was in the northern portion of the sanctuary. Also there were
Double-crested Cormorants, Red-breasted Mergansers, Bufflehead, a Pied-billed
Grebe, some American Coots, and Mallards. And some gulls. And Paul Pisano and
me. Nice day. Beautiful grebe.
Finally, after about seven fruitless visits in both 1994 and 2003, a RNGR at
Roaches.
