[va-bird] Another Possible Ivorybill Siting

I've been following a thread on a Bird Forum (www.birdforum.net) called
"Updates on the Ivorybill Woodpecker" ever since the discovery in
Arkansas. The threads have now reached 2163 messages in 85 pages, but I
log on to the site every night and have read every one. The site is
heavily visited by science types, and it's been a good learning
experience.

Anyway, there's a participant whose call name is Cinclodes. He's been
searching solo in a kayak in the Pearl Basin since January. He's some
kind of scientist and has access to Stennis, so that's where he's been
staying and filing reports to the forum and to his website daily since
he started his search. He went there because of an earlier brief
encounter that he had once himself in the area and due to anecdotal
reports from sources he considers reliable.

He's reported today confirmation of two birds for sure, doesn't know
whether or not they are just two, or are a mated pair. Obviously until
he has visual or audio proof, nothing can be totally confirmed. But he
has earned the trust of most of us that visit the site daily. I'm
sending links in case anyone is interested. The first is the link
where he first reports in on the forum today. Go to post #2125, then if
you want to continue and read any of the following ones, you have to
click on to the next page(s).

This is his website where he has reported his search daily:

Exciting news!
