Hello everyone,
I visited the lakes in Amherst Co. this morning 10-23-05. First I went
to Mill Creek. When I arrived I saw about 150+ Tree Swallows getting
bugs or whatever off the top of the water. That was an awesome sight.
They would form a mass and then hit the water all at the same time.
There were also 15 Ruddy Ducks, 2 Coot and an Osprey. There were
also 10 Green Winged Teal(4M and 6F). I also saw a Winter Wren
where the creek goes into the lake at the bridge. Then I went to
Thrashers Lake. There wasn't anything there but about 40 Canada
Geese.
