[va-bird] Am. Golden Plovers, Pr Wm Co, 8/28/04

VA BIRDers,

There were two American Golden Plovers on the sod farm dirt fields south of 
Manassas Airport this afternoon. This area is between Bristow Rd and the 
airport and harbored this species last year.  The sod farm was not in operation 
when Rich Rieger and I visited this afternoon about 3 pm, so we drove down to 
the loading area and walked over, past the 360 Laughing Gulls, to get a better 
view of the golden lovelies (adults).
