[va-bird] Alder & Olive-sided FCs, Fairfax County

I stopped at few different places in Fairfax County this morning (5/24) and
lucked out with a few really nice birds:

Bull Run Post Office Rd

* Alder Flycatcher - singing near the intersection of BRPO Rd and Sudley Forest
Ct. (between the driveway from where Short-eared Owls were seen and the power
lines)
* Willow Flycatchers - 2 or 3 singing just after the power lines at the
intersection of BRPO Rd and Running Post Ct
* American Redstart, Prairie Warblers, Common Yellowthroats, Blackpolls - along
BRPO RD

UOSA - Sewage Treatment plant and ponds

* Bald Eagle - adult that sat atop a tree just across the water, great bird!
* Pied-billed Grebe
* Wood Duck - male
* Spotted Sandpipers - 2
* Great Blue Herons - many

Ellanor C. Lawrence Park

* Olive-sided Flycatcher - "Three beers!" - posed for me for a couple of
minutes near the visitor center
* Blackburnian Warbler and Magnolia Warbler - around visitor center
* Swainson's Thrush - 2 in the woods

This was my first trip to this park- very nice! But beware the Red-winged
Blackbird! He relentlessly harassed me as I walked across the boardwalk over
the pond.
