[va-bird] A fine day!

You just know it's going to be a fine day when your first bird of the day is
Whip-poor-will snapping-up bugs in the light provided by your truck! The Whip
sat there for about a minute and half as I enjoyed a daylight quality view.
1st stop: Sunset Field off the B.R.Parkway atop Flat Top Mountain.
Best birds were: Chestnut-Sided Warbler, Veery, B&W Warbler, Ovenbird, Sc.
Tanager and Am. Redstart.
RT-812 (Warbler Road)
Best birds: Hooded, Cerulean (2), and Canada (1) Warblers
James River Overlook Park (Off the parkway at @ milepost 65.
Best birds: Cliff & Tree Swallows, Yellow Warbler, Orchard Oriole, and Warbling
Vireo.
And to end this fine day I stumbled upon a B.G. Gnatcatcher building a nest in
a cliff-side tree. I had so much fun, I think I'll take tomorrow off and try it
again!
Good birding to all!
