This morning in the wooded river valley just below the monastery I saw eleven
warblers (CHESTNUT-SIDED, BLACK-THR. BLUE, BLACKPOLL, CERULEAN, YELLOW-RUMPED,
BLACK-THR. GREEN, BLACK&WHITE, REDSTART, WORM-EATING, OVENBIRD and HOODED) each
in fairly good numbers although more Cerulean, Ovenbird, Hooded and Worm-eating
than the rest.

Other things seen in the forest:

ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK (male & female)
SCARLET TANAGERS 4
GREAT CRESTED FLYCATCHER 3
WOOD-PEWEE 2
YELLOW-THR. VIREO 3
BLUE-HEADED VIREO 4
RED-EYED VIREO 8
WOOD THRUSH 5
 SWAINSON'S THRUSH 3
PURPLE FINCH

Just when I was getting out of the deep forest I saw a small flock (I think
6-8) of CEDAR WAXWINGS flying south, probably the same flock I heard yesterday.

At our smaller pond were:

CANADA GOOSE 2
WOOD DUCK 2
SPOTTED SANDPIPER 4
TREE SWALLOW
BARN SWALLOW 2

All in all, 58 species seen in the forest and farm here.
