not knowing when the flycatcher eggs were laid - it is the most hopeful to
think that the babies have fledged - it doesn't take long - if the sparrow had
been involved in trying to take over the nest, i think you would have seen
some evidence - and as for the cuckoos, most birds do breed more successfully
and in greater numbers when the food source is greater - and of course, cuckoos
thrive on tent caterpillars - christie huffman
