[va-bird] 5/29/06- Occoquan Bay NWR

Visual confirmation this morning that Magnolia Warbler's are still in the area.
Saw one near the banding station. No luck on the Black Tern sighted here
yesterday though. Fifty-eight species seen/heard before the heat began. All in
all not a bad morning.

Caution: The ticks are prolific here now. I trying to the middle of the road,
and still I pulled about ten (10) ticks off my pants and socks. Most were Dog
Tick nymphs, about the size of a regular straight pin head (i.e. <1mm), and two
Deer Ticks.
