Late yesterday afternoon, we had a Broad-winged Hawk soar overhead at our house
(~2 mi. east of Burke Lake) in a southerly direction. A beautiful morning
today, but I didn't see or hear as many new arrivals as I had hoped. At
Leesylvania, had nice close view of a Prothonotary Warbler along Bushy Trail
near the nest box, and a White-eyed Vireo was singing in a tree in the middle
of the field below the ruins. Heard several more White-eyed V. at Julie Metz
along with many C. Yellowthroats. Complete list follows.
