While driving to see the Clay-colored Sparrow at Gene Sattler's house, I
played the CD of it's song.   I quickly realized the mystery buzzing song
at my house was most likely also a Clay-colored Sparrow.   I missed the
bird at Gene's house but did see the one at my house between @18:50  and
20:00  last night..   I observed the bird this morning between  06:30 -
07:20.   It is ground feeding on white millet with a flock of Chipping &
White-crowned sparrows.
This morning I would hear the bird singing before it appeared on the
ground.  Mark Johnson & Gene Sattler observed the bird last night from @
19:30 - 20:00.
People are welcome to try for the bird at any time.   I'll be out of town
starting Thursday but you're welcome to come on by.
