<USS Eagle> "Genesis Data"

Piloting the Delta Flyer-class shuttle, Falcon, back to the Eagle hangar deck
came easily. Mal was really greatful for the time he had spent with Tru Lost
before Tru had become Acting XO. Mal guided the shuttle around the wreckage
located in the center of the shuttle bay and gently put the shuttle down He
could see the shuttle techs already moving to get the Falcon ready for it's
next mission. No sooner had the shuttle touched down, than Mal bolted for the
bridge.
Mal exited the turbo-lift and headed directly for the auxilary science
console. He could see the data from the probe Lt. Matsu had launched streaming
in. Mal sat down, his eyes wide as he took it all in.
The original star charts had shown the planet was named Arceedia, a class-K
planet. Class-K planets were suitable for haitation only by the use of pressure
domes. Arceedia now had it's own atmosphere. Any indigenous life was destroyed,
and now eing replaced. And quickly too. Mal wondered if Arceedia would have the
same fate as the original Genesis Planet.
