Re: "The War of Smiling" ... Tempest, what a great log! I love that you've
written something that is from such a completely different point of view, that
of someone on the Socrates as it has been affected in our alternate timeline.
Terrific idea! I'd love to see more of this type of NPC log from everyone!

Speaking of which, anyone who has not yet contributed a log for January, I am
extending a "grace period" until the 17th of February, since the e-mail
announcing the new minimum requirements did not go out until January 17th. So
you have a little more than two weeks to get a log in for January. Logs for
February should be in by the end of next month. Remember, the minimum is 500
words total. If you've already sent a log in this month and would like to know
your word count, just ask me. Also, whoever would like to write up a plot
summary for this month, please let me know. If everyone takes a turn at one,
we'll each have to do it only once a year.

I've been quite busy this past week, some very exciting things have happened
in my personal life, so I completely forgot about sending out last week's chat
log. I'll do that right now, and this week's will follow within a few days. As
always, if anyone has any questions, suggestions, etc., please contact the
Admiral or me. Thank you! See you next week!
