The bridge officers all entered the ready room and took their places
around the briefing table. Svonn noted that the doctor and the two
"guests" were already seated at the table.
"I am Lt. Svonn," the Vulcan started. "I am not sure if the doctor has
informed you yet, but you are now aboard the Federation ship, USS
Athena, of which I am currently in command. Allow me to introduce the
other officers."
Indicating the Romulan, "Tis is Lt. Takaram. He is our tactical
officer and the ranking Romulan Star Navy officer aboard our ship.
"Then to Takela. "This is Miss ch'Ren. She is my operations officer
and as a native to the Beta Quadrant, she is my liason officer to the
peoples in this area of space. And of course you already know Dr,
Fyrstk, our Chief Medical Officer."
The eldest male,
looked at and acknowledged each officer introduced with a slight nod of
his head. His son, Gersin, loked totally confused.
"I am Itor," the older man said. "This is my eldest son, Gersin. We
wish to thank you for rescuing us from the Enclave."
"What did you do to the Enclave ship," Gersin asked quickly. "Did you
destroy it?"
"No,"
Svonn answered. "We merely disabled it. It is not Starfleet ploicy to
destroy unless there is no other option."
"There is no other option
where the Enclave is concerned," Gersin spat out angrily.
