The Zentradi were created for war, but they're not stupid. After half a million
years it's ineviatable to know that some things burn and some things don't.
Zentradi are apparently not entirely unaccustomed to fighting ground battles
since Britai didn't give much thought to sending battlepods to the ground
during the first battle. (And the fact that the Regults actually have legs
should say as much) And yes, Kamjin was a booze-hound LONG before he even knew
Earth existed. Almost any time you see him on this ship he's holding a glass
of... wine or something.

The Zentradi have extensive skills in guerilla warfare, as demostranted by
Kamjin in the mars battle, as with Millia and her crews. Zentradi are very good
at killing things, be thay destroids, variable fighters or whatever type of
Supervision Army mecha they're used to blowing up. We've seen some pretty large
animals out there too; the pterasaurs on New Eden are BIGGER than the Zentradi.
We see a couple of things in Macross 7 that would make a fairly tasty snack for
some hungry Zentran grunt, (Dinosaur-like predators and such). As I said, the
Zentradi are soldiers but they're not stupid, in fact they tend to be
surprisngly resourceful for a group that technically lacks a culture of their
own.

Another point: the main reason the Zentradi frorces got so big was to fight off
the Supervision Army, a war that apparently lasted about 500 thousand years.
They were obviously winning this war since the Supervision Army had resorted to
booby traps and guerilla raids to keep the Zentradi off guard, and Exodor's
statement that they were on the run in this sector ten years prior.
