     2) FROM THE SERIES In the original Macross series when they are explaining 
the 
history of the Zentradi as Exodore talks, they show three still frames that are 
blurry and 
in orange/red color tones. Exodore talks of the Divisive War with the 
Protoculture. One 
still clearly shows a Zentradi holding a micronian in his hand, another still 
clearly 
shows several Macross class ships firing on a couple of Salan Scout ships. 
Anothe 
shows, I think, a Macross calss ship burning. Then later Hikaru and Misa are 
shown 
the fate of the last world that culturally contaminated the Zentrdai, and they 
are shown 
a "planet smash" attack by teh main fleet, and after that attack the Zentradi 
were 
ordered never to interfere with a micronian world again.
      That's from a web soruce, and from the series. I would also suggest you 
watch tehm 
again, either Robotech or a tarnslation of teh original Macross if you can.

    It's never stated that it's an injury. And it's not that the Zentradi 
necesarily knew how 
to fix it, it's that the Factory knew how to fix it.

  I would just doubt it. The Zentradai aren't PERFECT soldiers, they're cheap 
mass 
producable, expendable soldiers, who only know how to fight.
