Hmm, the discussion on RT.com went on and got pretty interesting. The bottom
line was that theoretically, it would be possible to track a cloaked
fighter, but the goal in combining IFF and SCD is to make that possibility
so hard to achieve that it is negligable.
On a side note I learned a lot about the different methods to detect stealth
fighters at all, like High Definition Doppler-Radar that focuses not on the
fighter but the turbulence created by the plane. Interesting huh?
But I guess that with the Invid one does not have to worry anyway as they
focus on normal and P~ emissions.
