[UNSDB] How is HG going to handle the Sentinels?

I wonder how Harmony Gold is going to handle the Sentinels footage (series
is prolly too strong a word for 3 episodes) in regard to the new project.
Rewrite the Sentinels? Nah, too much material published on that?
Retell the story with new animation? Nah, they said they wouldn't.
Tell other stories happening during the Sentinels war with new characters?
Could be, would allow for new characters and occasional run-ins with the old
ones.

What do you guys think? Any facts I haven't thought off?
