[UK TV Freelancers] TV freelancers databases

Dear TV Freelancer,

Several months ago, we told you that plans were underway to develop a
couple of interactive systems for our community at
www.tvfreelancers.org.uk - databases which would make our site a much
more powerful tool for freelancers like yourself.

These plans are now becoming a reality, and programming is under way not
only on an interactive rates database, but also on a system which will
enable you to exchange experiences and advice about employers. We hope
to be able to bring you more definite news on a launch date by the end
of the month. For more info visit the forum topic at:

It's been a while since we last contacted you, but discussion is still
active on our forum with discussions running on all kinds of topics,
from holiday pay to agencies. New subscribers are signing up to this
mailing list every day. Please continue to spread the word about our
community, and do get involved in the debate in our forum. In
particular, keep your details about rates coming in to the rates forum -
we're had a lot of feedback that it's a useful and eye-opening resource,
but it does need to be kept up to date, and any information you can
contribute will be valuable to others.

Best wishes
