Dear TV Freelancer,
The forum at www.tvfreelancers.org.uk has grown substantially over the last
few months, and has finally - and mercifully - undergone some subdivision,
making relevant threads much easier for you to find. Consequently, we now
have two new forums, with open access as before: for recommendations, and
Q&A's.
The Recommendations forum is a new initiative. We'd like you to recommend
services or professionals that you have found useful in your work or
freelance life, and which you think others would benefit from. Freelancers
often ask about accountants, financial advisors, agents, mortgages,
pensions, training courses and so on - as well as looking for
recommendations for high quality crew, facilities or equipment hire. If
you've used someone who was good - please share!
The Q&A forum now contains all your questions, requests for advice and pleas
for help - together with responses and answers, of course. If you have a
query, or are stuck with something, see if our other users can help - or
browse the forum in case you have the experience to offer a reply.
On top of that, our existing open discussion forum is currently considering
responses to Monday's Media Guardian piece about exploitation of entry level
TV workers - but that's a subject for another message. Come and take a look.
Best wishes
