[UK TV Freelancers] Meeting with BECTU

Dear TV Freelancer,

Martin Spence of BECTU recently offered our members an open invitation
to a meeting, to discuss any issues about the union's activities in
relation to freelancers. Some of you have already expressed an interest
in attending.

The date for this meeting has now provisionally been set for the evening
of Wednesday, July 9th. We'll let you know the exact venue and times,
but it will be somewhere in central London - probably in Soho - with the
option of adjourning to a nearby watering hole for a more informal chat
afterwards.

Martin's agreement to meet us is significant, and it's an opportunity we
shouldn't squander. Our relationship with BECTU is crucial to the role
our organisation plays in the future. We'd love to have you there,
whether to contribute or just to listen and find out more about the
union's role. It would help us enormously if you could email
info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx to confim your intention to come along, so we
can expect you on the day.

Thanks again for your support,

PS Apologies to those of you outside London. Do let us know if you'd
like to help set up a similar meeting in your own area.
