[UK TV Freelancers] Freelance Fair 9th June

Dear TV Freelancer,

On the 9th June BECTU is holding a Freelancers' Fair at BAFTA in London.
It's a chance for members and non-members of BECTU to meet with industry
professionals who will be on hand to tell you everything you wanted to know
about the freelance life but were always afraid to ask ... whatever rung of
the ladder you're on. BECTU is working really hard to cater and respond to
the needs of freelancers and the event is a fantastic idea.

BECTU's flyer (or is it flier?!?) is here:

Directors & Producers Rights Society), Production Base (the online
employment directory), Thompsons (solicitors), Hard Dowdy (industry
accountants), The Knowledge, Jobs in Broadcast.and the Health and Safety
Executive. All aspects of the industry will be featured offering invaluable
advice and information whatever your experience or grade. BECTU is even
offering 25% discount on union membership on the day.

A Q & A session (starting at 20.00) will allow you to put your questions to
a panel of contributors including Stephen Cavalier (Thompsons), Martin
Spence (AGS BECTU), Ian Critchley (BBC - head of HR, BBC Drama,
Entertainment, and Children's), and Clair Doughty of Skillset.

All the best,
