[UHNA] UHNA minutes.

Happy snow day. We had a good meeting last night. Steve, Roland, Theresa,
Kathy, Daniel and I were in attendance.

Cindy and Daniel reported on the block captain meeting. They encourage
captains to pick up the neighborhood "six minutes a day" and to encourage
others. The block captain program received equipment from CUF which they
will share with us. Cleanups are planned for March and the Great American
Cleanup in April. The Great American Cleanup will be moved from April 28 to
another date because of date conflicts.

We will have a cleanup of McMicken tentatively on March 24 but will
coordinate with Block Captain dates

Highlights of the January CUF meeting. The police were pleased by the
cooperation with the neighbors on recent arrests. CUF was allocated its
Neighborhood Grant Funding. The CHCURC project is still on hold-but
negotiations continue with UC. The block captains recently won an award.

Cindy reported on the Civic Engagement series. The emphasis was on
accountability and taking responsibility.-not blaming others. The program
showed that groups like CUF and CHIA are working together.

Steve Staubach suggested that we consider making our area a historic
district. The area which he lived in Dayton improved the quality of life as
well as property values with this designation. Kathy appointed Steve and
Roland as a subcommittee to research requirements for the next meeting..
Also Steve has set up a web page at esrv.net which he suggests we link in
the CUF web page.

Kathy can fill in what I forgot. Keep warm.
