Subject: Your input needed: A plan for preservation
FYI. Mike Morgan is a CUF resident from Ohio Ave. He's been to our
meetings talking about CityLink, zoning, etc. He's also a big supporter of
the Brewery District and streetcars. We periodically talk about
preservation; here's an opportunity to network. In fact, I think I've got
copies of research that the Cincinnati Preservation Assoc. did on CUF houses
some years ago. I'll dig it up from the leftover box-o-CUF.

> Cincinnati's neighborhoods are its future. With its wonderful historic
architecture, our City has great potential to use historic preservation as
an economic development tool.

> Unfortunately, too many repairable historic buildings are being
demolished, and their potential wasted. The Over-the-Rhine Foundation and
Cincinnati Preservation Association have developed a holistic plan to help
save more buildings and make preservation work better in Cincinnati. We
believe this is a workable, commonsense proposal that will benefit ALL the
City's historic neighborhoods.
