[ubuntu-l10n-it] Traduzione intervista: Daniel Holbach

Invio la traduzione in file di testo per la revisione. Anche qua ho lasciato 
le parti in inglese tra parentesi tonda doppia in modo da semplificarvi la 
correzione.

Su questa traduzione ho penato un po' di piu', tanto che ho lasciato alcuni 
punti in sospeso indicando le richieste di aiuto/chiarimento tra parentesi. 
Purtroppo il mio forte è l'Inglese tecnico ed in questa intervista ci sono 
diversi "modi di dire" che mi hanno messo in difficoltà dato che non sono 
riscontrabili nei dizionari.

p.s.
che dizionari online usate per controllare le parole dubbie? Io mi trovo 
abbastanza bene con wordreference.com perché é integrabile nel search box di 
firefox, me ne consigliate altri?

- In che modo sei coinvolto in Ubuntu?

Attualmente sto spendendo gran parte del tempo dedicato ad Ubuntu nel 
DesktopTeam, facendo la manutenzione dei pacchetti, lavorando sui bug del 
Desktop ed urtando i nervi di Sebastien. (NOTA: mica sono sicuro qua: geting 
nerves che vuol dire?). A parte questo sono coinvolto in un sacco di gruppi 
Ubuntu: il MOTU team, il Bug Squad, il gruppo sull'accessibilità ed ho 
iniziato ad aiutare il gruppo Arte. Vediamo quale sarà il prossimo gruppo. E' 
fantastico vedere la comunità Ubuntu crescere ed essere parte di tutto questo.

((I'm currently spending most of my Ubuntu time in Ubuntu's DesktopTeam, doing 
package maintenance, working on Desktop bugs and geting on Sebastien's nerves. 
Apart from that I'm involved in a lot of Ubuntu's teams: the MOTU team, the Bug 
Squad, the Accessibility team, I got started helping out the Art team. Let's 
see which team is next. It's amazing to see the Ubuntu community growing and to 
be part of that all.))

- Quanto tempo spendi lavorando su Ubuntu?

Dovrebbe essere più di 50 ore a settimana(contando il weekend, ecc). Questo 
cambia molto comunque. Su quest'argomento mi piacerebbe citare `Hayao Miyazaki 
- Master of Japanese Animation` di `Helen McCarthy`:
lei riprende un pezzo di Andrew Simmons, un addetto Disney, riguardo il lavoro

- Sei pagato per lavorare su Ubuntu?

Si. Fin dalla fine del ciclo di rilascio di Breezy. ((Yes. Since the end of the 
Breezy release cycle.))

- Quando e come sei stato coinvolto in Ubuntu?

Quando ho iniziato ad usare Ubuntu, ho iniziato ad aiutare la pacchettizzazione 
(dopo le pressioni di diverse settimane di Michael Vogt e Oliver Grawert). In 
quel periodo il gruppo MOTU consisteva di circa 5 persone e c'era un'atmosfera 
pioneristica alla base del gruppo. Spero di non essere frainteso: ancora oggi 
c'e' ancora un atmosfera pioneristica, ma in altri gruppi. Oggi siamo circa 40 
persone in MOTU e circa la stesso numero di aspiranti. Sono sempre stato 
interessato ad il mondo di GNOME ed é stato grande incontrare Sebastien Bacher 
a Sydney e formare il gruppo Desktop con lui.

((When I started using Ubuntu, I started helping out in packaging (after 
Michael Vogt and Oliver Grawert pushed me towards for several weeks). At that 
time the MOTU team consisted of around 5 people and there was still a lot of 
pioneer atmosphere in the very basics of that team. I hope you don't get me 
wrong: today there is still a lot of pioneer atmosphere, but in different 
places. Today we are around 40 MOTUs and roughly the same amount of MOTU 
wannabes. I was always interested in the GNOME world and it was great to meet 
Sebastien Bacher in Sydney and form the Desktop team with him.))

- A cosa hai lavorato in Dapper?

Alla manutenzione e bug di GNOME, a tirare avanti i gruppi BugSquad e 
Accessibilità, sono stato coinvolto nella creazione delle icone e molte altre 
piccole cose.
((GNOME maintenance, GNOME bugs, getting the BugSquad and Accessibility team 
going, I was involved in making icons happen, and several other tiny things.))

- Quali sono i tuoi piani per Edgy?

Gli stessi di cui sopra e spero di avere più tempo per le attività della 
comunità, specialmente ancora tempo per il mondo di MOTU.
((The same as above and I hope to have more time for community matters, 
especially the MOTU world again.))

- Quale funzionalità vorresti vedere o vedere migliorata in Ubuntu?

    * editing audio professionale
    * conferenza video
    * sincronizzazione via rete con dispositivi mobili e palmari
    * migliori performance sui vecchi PC.

- Contribuisci al FLOSS in altri modi?

La maggior parte delle patch che ho il tempo di fornire sono parte del mio 
lavoro quotidiano.

- Quale window manager/desktop environment usi e cosa ti piace di esso?

Sono stato un fanatico di GNOME per diverso tempo. Mi piace l'aspetto, l'idea 
di semplicità.

- Quali programmi usi quotidianamente?

evolution, epiphany, vim. Nell'ultimo mese l'amore per bzr e python é 
cresciuto molto.

- Quali computer hai e come si chiamano?

Il mio portatile (un IBM X40) si chiama 'lovegood' (le persone che conosco il 
libro, che ho letto in 4 lingue, forse capiranno perché). Il mio AMD64 di 
lavoro si chiama 'bert' - non so perché ho scelto questo nome, il mio PC di 
lavoro ha sempre avuto questo nome. La mia macchina i386 di test si chiama 
'wilde'. Il mio i386 di basso profilo per testare Xubuntu (ed ex router) si 
chiama 'bebel'. Recentemente ho acquistato anche un vecchio PowerPC, l'ho 
chiamato 'miyazaki'.

((My laptop (an IBM X40) is called 'lovegood' (people who know the books, I 
nearly read in four languages might know why). My AMD64 working machine is

Christina, ha 23 anni e sta studiando a Vienna. Thomas, mio fratello di 20 
anni, é ancora a Trier e sta tentando di diventare fotografo. ((Christina, my

just still in Trier, who is looking into becoming a photographer.))

- Cosa ricordi della tua infanzia?
A quattro anni, sentendomi molto stanco, in un pomeriggio estivo quando i miei 
gentori stavano costruendo la casa, mi addormentai sulla lana di vetro (non 
indossavo una maglietta). Mi ricordo di aver detto ad un prete anziano e molto 
amichevole di non parlare con la bocca piena, durante la benedizione della casa 
quando ci strasferimmo. I rotoloni a capofitto quando provavo a saltare sulla 
rampa di casa con la BMX a tutta velocità (avevo 10 anni). Nuotare nudi nel 
lago con un gruppo di amici dopo una festa.

the house and falling asleep on glass wool (without a shirt on). Telling a old 
and very friendly priest not to speak with a full mouth, when our house was

Figli no, che i sappia, ma ho Murphy, un Terrier Tibetano di 7 anni.

- Cosa consigli di visitare a tutti tra le attrazioni del tuo paese?

Sicuramente Berlino. Anche Trier é una bella visita, dipende da cosa ti piace 
fare, le montagne sono per chi ama fare le scalate.

like to do, the mountains for hiking.))

- Il luogo preferito dove andare in ferie?

In qualche maniera mi sento in sintonia con la Grecia da diverso tempo e la mia 
visita là Ú stata semplicemente fantastica. Mi é piaciuta la gente, le 
città, i panorami, la cultura, il mare ed i luoghi isoltati e tranquilli. 
Potrei perfino immaginare di trasferirmi lì un giorno.

((Somehow I fell in love with Greece a long time ago and my visit there was 
simply great. I liked the people, the cities, the landscape, the culture, the 
sea, the busy and the quiet places. I could even imagine moving there, one 
day.))

- A cosa sei appassionato?

Ho la passione per la buona musica, una pezzo veramente forte può farmi 
ballare e saltare in giro già di mattina presto. 
((I'm passionate about good music, a seriously good tune can make me dance and 
jump around in the early morning already.))

- Che cosa significa per te il successo?

Mi piace molto la risposta di Daniel Silverstone a questa domanda. Il successo 
per me non é basato sugli aspetti economici. Io sento di aver avuto successo 
quando finisco un buon pezzo di un lavoro, quando qualcuno mi dice che 
(...aiuto:linked in senso di link?), quando organizzo una bella festa, quando 
faccio un buon pezzo mixato Drum'n'Bass. Ogniqualvolta io sento che i miei 
sforzi producono qualcosa di buono o cambiano la giornata in meglio, per me e 
per gli altri, questo é quello che significa successo per me.

I liked Daniel Silverstone's answer to that question a lot. Success for me 
isn't based on monetary aspects either. I feel I've been successful when I 
finished a good piece of work, when somebody told me he liked something I did a 
lot, when I threw a good party, when I did a cool piece of Drum'n'Bass mixing. 
Whenever I feel my efforts achieved something good or changed the day in a 
positive way, for me and for others, that's what success is to me.

- Che cosa fai nel tuo tempo libero?

Sto cercando di diventare un buon Disk Jokey Drum'n'Bass, sto all'aria aperta 
ogni volta che posso (portando fuori il cane, scoprendo nuove zone di Berlino, 
o non so cos'altro), telefono agli amici, leggo e mi informo sulle cose 
interessanti dell'OpenSource.

((I'm striving to become a good Drum'n'Bass DJ, I'm outside whenever I can 
(taking the dog out, exploring parts of Berlin, I don't know yet), phoning 
friends, reading and looking into interesting OpenSource stuff.))

- Che libri hai letto recentemente?

Krabat. Ho riletto Henry Miller: Sexus, Plexus, Nexus. Il Codice da Vinci (non 
aveno niente di più interessante in aereoporto). Harry Potter 1-4 (in Francese)

- Quali film hai visto recentemente?

Alcuni film di Ghibli Studio: NausicaÀ of the Valley of the Wind, Princess 
Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, Laputa. Im Juli é uno dei miei preferiti.

- Che musica ti piace?

Seguo la musica Drum'n'Bass un sacco, ho alcuni negozi di musica a Berlino che 
visito regolarmente, spesso riescono a colpire i miei gusti. A parte questo 
ascolto un sacco di generi diversi. L'ultima cose che ho ascoltato oggi sono 
stati i Morrissey, Alan Parson's Project, alcune canzoni latine e alcuni pezzi 
di musica classica.

((I follow Drum'n'Bass music a lot, I have some favourite record shops in 
Berlin I visit regularly, it often just fits my mood. Apart from that, I listen 
to lots of different music. The last things I listened to today were Morrissey, 
Alan Parson's Project, some Latin music and some classical music.))

- Quali sono i tuoi gadget preferiti?

Non penso di possedere niente che possa essere classificato come 'gadget', ma 
se state parlando di oggetti tecnologici vorrei citare i Technics SL 1210 MK2 - 
Sono la Mercedes dei giradischi e se li provate, ve ne rederete conto. La 
precisione, la robustezza, ecc sono semplicemente eccezionale ed é un piacere 
usarli.

((I don't think I own anything that classifies as a 'gadget', but if we're 
talking about technical items, I'd mention the Technics SL 1210 MK2 - it's the 
Mercedes of the turntables and if you use it, you just feel it. The precision, 
its robustness, etc it's simply remarkable and a pleasure to use.))

- Citazione preferita?

Lo so, dovrei provare a pensare a qualcosa di inteligente o ad un commento che 
valga la pena, ma riesco solo a pensare a quella volta in cui Oscar Wilde 
viaggiando in treno trovò una signora che gli chiese "le dispiace se fumo?". 
Egli rispose "non mi dispiacerebbe solo se lei prendesse fuoco, signora."

((I know I should try to think of something clever or a worthwhile comment, but 
I can only think of an occasion where Oscar Wilde travelled by train and a 
woman asked him "Do you mind if smoke?" he replied with "I wouldn't mind if 
you'd burn, madam."))

- Piatto preferito?

Vivendo a Berlino posso avere accesso a diversi tipi di cucine, ma credo di 
preferire (più delle altre) la Tailandese, l'Italiana e l'Indiana. L'oca in 
salsa rossa di curry con latte di cocco é qualcosa che amo mangiare (ed anche 
cucinare).

((Living in Berlin I have access to a diverse set of 'cuisine's, but I guess 
(among others) I like Thai, Italian and Indian food best. Duck in red curry and 
coconut milk is something I love to eat (and I even cooked it myself!). ))
