Yes Derek/Shirley

AVG does have the Help tab and the' About AVG' gives version information.

You don't usually open AVG in a screen but double-click the wonky
four-colour icon in the notification area of the taskbar on your windows
screen and a small panel opens and Help is one of the available tabs.

Hello Shirley,

You can find the Version information for most, but not all Windows
programmes, by clicking on the Help button which is usually located at the
top right hand side of the screen and then select the About option, which
will show the information you want. I don't know whether AVG follows this
convention but it is worth a try.

Hello Derek

Many thanks - I have tried this link and completed all the info. required,
and although it says I have downloaded the new version, it keeps asking me
to 'choose one of these..programmes and get 8.5 free' I cannot see how to
check if I actually have the new one. I've tried Programmes and can find
AVG but it doesn't tell me which version I have got. Is there a way of
checking?
