We have been attacked, and while gining a good account of ourselves, we have
lost all escorts... there will be howling in the Klingon households.
My friend Tay is a magnificent pilot... Capt. Dorath and Commander Taltos
brilliant battle teacticians. I belienve my shooting was adequate.
Ony the Warboird remains, somewhere out here. My ship is hurt, this is my
village, her people mine too. If this is where fate decrees the Path of
Moonshadows to Ennien ends, may I take my last steps usefully.
