Hi Lynn,
Not sure if it will be helpful but here is the PSAC submission to the senate
committee on Bill c-525. As you know C-525 proposed to amend the union
certification and revocation provisions of the Canada Labour Code(CLC), The
Parliamentary Employment and Staff Relations Act (PESRA), and the Public
Service Labour Relations Act (PSLRA), which covers workers employed in the
federal public service.

Subject: [TURC] research on removal of card check
Importance: Low
Hi everyone,
Our new Conservative government will be holding hearings on its Bill 7 which
will eliminate card check in Manitoba and force secret ballots to determine
whether workers can form a union.
I will be presenting at the hearing. Any research on the negative impact on
unionization of elimination of card check would be appreciated.
Many thanks, Lynne
