Hi David, thanks for your comments yesterday. Enclosed is information on
the upcoming collective bargaining conference.
On June 11-13, 2017 the Canadian Teachers’ Federation and the Nunavut
Teachers’ Association will be hosting a National Collective Bargaining
Conference in Ottawa. The theme of the conference is “Collective Bargaining
in the Age of Populism”. I am seeking an opening plenary speaker who can
give an International/American perspective on how the events of 2016 could
impact Canada’s economy in general, and collective bargaining for unions in
Canada in particular. Any suggestions on potential candidates would be
appreciated.
