TUGS has some great events planned for this term. Full details

                  Summer Research Opportunities!
                      TUESDAY, JANUARY 18TH

                         12-1PM, SS2125

                      PIZZA LUNCH PROVIDED!

A Seminar discussing research opportunities for undergraduate students within 
the Geography Department - details on how to go about approaching professors, 
courses and summer research positions, and examples of past projects.

                      TUGS General Meeting
                     THURSDAY, JANUARY 20th

                         12-1pm, SS2125

               Snacks and refreshments will be provided!

The Department of Geography has announced two new Assistant Professor 
positions, one in Physical Geography and one in Urban Geography.

Undergraduates can be involved in the selection process!! 

Each candidate who is short listed for a position presents a lecture to the 
selection committee and the Geography Department. Undergraduates are invited 
to take part in the seminar and provide their comments to the Chair of the 
Geography Department.

This is your opportunity to get involved in deciding who will be teaching your 
courses next year!

For full details and the date/time of each candidate's seminar, come to the

lectures will be sent out through the TUGS listserv.
