Re: Elections for Governing Council
Nominations have opened for the following seats on the Governing Council for
terms starting July 1, 2004:
Administrative Staff: 1 seat
Term: three-years: from July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2007
· Current member whose term ends on June 30, 2004: K. Lewis
Student seats:
Term: one-year from July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2005
4 seats: Full-time Undergraduate Students
· 2 from the Faculty of Arts and Science, St. George campus, University of
Toronto at Mississauga, University of Toronto at Scarborough (both students may
not be from the same College or campus)
- Current members whose terms end June 30, 2004: M. Foderick and A. Watson
· 2 from the Faculties of Applied Science and Engineering, Dentistry, Law,
Medicine, Music, Nursing, OISE/UT, Pharmacy, and Physical Education and Health
(both students may not be registered in the same Faculty)
- Current members whose terms end June 30, 2004: M. Ahmad and B. Cameron
2 seats: Part-time undergraduate students
- Current members whose terms end June 30, 2004: M. Browne and C. Ramsaroop
2 seats: Graduate Students
· 1 from Division I or Division II of the School of Graduate Studies;
- Current member whose term ends June 30, 2004: S. Aggarwal
· 1 from Division III or Division IV of the School of Graduate Studies;
- Current member whose term ends June 30, 2004: F. Ko
Teaching staff seats
Term: three-years from July 1, 2004 - June 30, 2007
· Constituency IC: Faculty of Arts & Science ? all teaching staff members in
the Faculty of Arts and Science who hold their major appointments in the
Departments of Astronomy and Astrophysics, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science,
Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology (excluding those who are
members of Constituency II (University of Toronto at Mississauga) or III
(University of Toronto at Scarborough))
· Current member whose term ends June 30, 2004: B. Sherwood Lollar
· Constituency IV: Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering
- Current member whose term ends June 30, 2004: P. Byer
· Constituency V: Faculty of Medicine (2 seats)
- Current members whose terms end June 30, 2004: D. Jenkins, J. Wedge
