The Department of Geography, University of British Columbia wishes to announce
its 2002 field trip to Hong Kong, Singapore and Osaka, Japan. The course will
emphasize the historical and modern aspects of these major Asian cities and
involve visits to factories, shrines, temples and downtown centres. Interested
students from non-UBC institutions are welcome and course transfer arrangements
are available. All Geography faculty are asked to promote this field trip to
interested students.
