For those of you in Geography/Environmental Science/Botany (or other 
disciplines) interested in taking a field course in the summer, 
GGR490 - Advanced Field Research Methods is being offered by the Geography 
Department this year. 

GGR490 is a field course that will be held at the University of Calgary's 
field station near Kananaskis, Alberta. It is a fantastic   
opportunity to do field work in a beautiful mountain setting. 
Students will be responsible for travel to and from the site. The cost is 
the 
standard cost of a half credit course plus lodging. The course will be held 
from July 28 to August 10, 2003. It lasts for two weeks and at the end of 
that 
time you will have earned your half credit.
