[Try Astronomy] Question

I am thinking of buying a new telescope. I have a Celestron 10" dobsonian reflector but I've been kind of disapointed with my views. I know part of it is becuase I'm not able to get into real darkness.

 

I've been thinking about getting a Meade 5" Achromatic refractor. Does anyone have one of these or something similar and what is your opinion of it?
