To clear this up for all parents: I have only about 1/4 of the total blue
cards from the merit badge trail drive earlier this winter. (These were
complete, signed, and turned in to me on day 3.) All others that were held
by the counselors are being collected by the guy in charge down there, and
he will be sending them to me by mail. Once I receive them, I will get them
back to the Scouts for signatures. They will then be processed in the Troop
records. That is when they will have their copy. I'm not expecting them
until end of the month.

Tonight I handed an envelope to each Scout containing his copies of blue
cards that were being held with Troop records. As Troop Advancement
Coordinator, I feel more comfortable holding onto only the Troop's copies.
I suggest you ask your Scout about this and help him find a safe place at
home to keep his blue cards after every Merit Badge he earns.
